Bowl Season: This is the most wonderful time of the year. And after a modified playoffs in 2020, college football is back with a full three-week fixture list that is sure to have a little something for everyone. The action is on and continues throughout the National College Football Playoff Championship in the second week of January.
On the last day of 2021, the bowl season hits a milestone with the CFP semi-finals highlighting Friday’s bowl schedule. Alabama’s No.1 will face No.4 Cincinnati in the Cotton Bowl in the first CFP semi-final, followed by No.2 Michigan against No.3 Georgia in the Orange Bowl. These matches will dominate the conversation for the day, and rightly so, with the winners playing next week for the CFP Championship. However, before the attention turns to Dallas and Miami, there are plenty of other games with intriguing clashes. No.17 Wake Forest will face Rutgers, replacing Texas A&M in the Gator Bowl, before Washington State faces Central Michigan, another surprise opponent, in the Tony The Tiger Sun Bowl before the start of CFP games. .
