On June 22, 8 p.m., the mythical Preservation Room Jazz Band will return by popular demand Community Auditorium Door (DAC). This group held the torch of New Orleans Music at altitude for over 50 years, creating music that exemplifies the inimitable spirit and joy of living. Tickets are $55 to $75.

In its most recent versionthe Preservation Hall Jazz Band is redefining what New Orleans music means today by tapping into the Afro-Cuban roots and honoring cutting-edge artists such as Stevie Wonder and the Black Keys. Today this group of seven musicians has members whose ages span nearly 60 yearsembodying its mission to transmit a happy musical tradition while always revitalizing it with new blood and fresh ideas.

On June 236 p.m., the Welcome children American folk duet Okee Dokee Brothers will perform songs written under an open sky and harmonies refined around the campfire. The group’s spirit of friendship and adventure makes room for kids to dance, for parents to share stories and for everyone to win respect for natureeach other and our world.
