Morgan Henley Presents and the Lee Arts Foundation have relaunched the 6th annual Carnation Block Party – Rock the Nation Music and Art Festival, after a two-year hiatus. This free festival, open to the public and all ages, features live music and interactive arts activities at the Tolt Commons in downtown Carnation on Saturday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
This event will begin with a yoga class beginning at 11 a.m. followed by an art and music class beginning at noon. Some of the featured musicians include: Ethan Tucker, The Fabulous Orchids, Sean the Shaman, County Dave & the Pickin’ Crew and more. Red Eagle Soaring, Native Youth Theater in Seattle, will perform at 2:40 p.m.
Lee Arts Foundation organizes several interactive art booths for all ages. These activities include: walking stick creations, tie-dye, flower crowns, pearl salmon and more. There will also be a beer and wine garden and food trucks to keep you entertained and vendors selling all types of handmade creations.
