About the job:

As an Artist Services Representative, you will provide world-class support to independent artists, connecting them to the right resources to maximize the revenue generated from their music. You will gain basic knowledge and industry experience in a multitude of topics such as publication administration, copyright, sync licensing, and promotional tools to name a few ! On top of that, you’ll be working in a relaxed, dedicated, and fun environment with other creatives like YOU. We are looking for an enthusiastic representative who can support our Latin American artists and will form the new office of Medellín Artist Services.

Responsibilities / Tasks:
  • Respond to daily artist service requests regarding releases and digital distribution issues from labels, artists and managers.
  • Respond to emails and live chats from artists regarding post administration, copyright, sync licensing, promotional tools and MORE.
  • Return artist callback requests on the same topics. No sales, only support for their specific concerns.
  • Zendesk ticketing work for LATAM territories (Spanish, Portuguese) and help with requests for English artists.
  • Answer artists’ questions regarding their accounts, album / singles registrations, release deadlines and accounting activity.
  • Accurately complete data entry and enter new prospects / customers into the IT system
  • Support the actions of the operations team establishing relationships with the DSPs.
  • Support local efforts to help position CD Baby as a market leader.
  • Support brand building and collect feedback from artists in assigned local territories.
  • Enter transactions into the computer that will generate mailings to prospects / customers
  • Follow appropriate security guidelines to ensure security procedures are followed in accordance with company policies
  • Reliability and flexibility – must be punctual, have good attendance and be efficient when changing tasks.
  • Other tasks and special projects assigned
Required Skills :
  • Speaks fluently English / Portuguese and Spanish
