JACKSON, MI — Five-time Grammy Award winner Wynonna Judd is coming to Jackson.
The country artist will take the stage in Jackson as part of the Herstory & Hits Tour at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 at the Michigan Theater in Jackson, 124 N. Mechanic St..
Judd has been dubbed by Rolling Stone as “the greatest country singer since Patsy Cline”. The Country Music Hall-Of-Fame icon first rose to prominence as part of a musical duo, The Judds, who have sold over 20 million records worldwide.
Judd will embark on his tour to commemorate the 30th anniversary of his first solo tour. Throughout her career she has received over 60 industry awards and is known for songs such as “No One Else On Earth”, “I Saw The Light” and “Is It Over Yet?”
Judd will be opened by country music’s Jake Bleau. Doors to the concert will open at 6 p.m. and Bleau will take the stage at 7 p.m. Judd will perform at 8 p.m.
Tickets for the event go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, February 18 and can be purchased through the Michigan Theater of Jackson website. Ticket prices range from $28 to $68.
