Friends of the Central Library Author Series: Brit Bennett
If you’re a book fan, head to the Oncenter Crouse-Hinds Theater to hear New York Times bestseller Brit Bennett. The author of “The Vanishing Half” has been published in The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine and The Paris Review. This event is part of the Friends of the Central Library author series and begins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. Tickets start at $40.

Artist Interview with Stephanie H. Shih
Stephanie H. Shih is an Asian American ceramic artist whose latest exhibition of work is on display at the SU Art Museum as part of its annual Art Wall project. On Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Shih will talk about his pieces with curator Melissa Yuen. This event is virtual and participants can register online.



918 Print Party
Celebrate the artistic pursuit of print at the 918 Print Party on Friday and Saturday. The festival will feature local and international artists, live demonstrations, merchandise and raffles. The party will take place at Delavan Studios and admission is free.

Festa Italiana will return to Syracuse in front of City Hall from Friday to Sunday with rides, live music, talks, competitions, raffles and of course, classic Italian food. Admission is free and the event runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

2022 Taste of B’ville
Want to get off campus and connect with the local community? Take a trip to Baldwinsville on Saturday and explore the bustling food scene at Taste of B’ville. Live musicians will perform throughout the day and each vendor will offer inexpensive samples. The festival is free and will run from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Crafted Underground Series
Every Sunday, McCarthy Mercantile hosts the Crafted Underground series, which features local vendors, including artists and small businesses, along with live music. The event runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Red Cross blood drive
Donate blood at Schine Student Center on Wednesday. Organized by the Center for Policy Research and the Pre-PA Club, the blood drive will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students must register to donate.
