WITH the work well underway on New Edmiston House, newly appointed GM Dave Pyatt sat down with RangersTV this week to discuss his role and what fans can expect from the incredible facility.

The exciting project will see a club museum, a brand new two-story Rangers store as well as an event space under one roof.

Overseeing the work in progress, Dave gave an overview of what his job entails as construction continues.

Speaking to RangersTV, he said: “It will be my job to make sure that all the different aspects, the new store, the museum and the event space all work together to make Ibrox a more fun place for them. fans and anyone who chooses to visit us.

“It’s really fitting that we have the museum that is going to be a anchor for the last 150 years and really celebrate our history while the club also invests in the next 150 years in things like the concert hall.

“There are a lot of professional and extremely enthusiastic people working behind the scenes to make it all happen, so it’s moving forward and once the project is built it’s a matter of setting up the new store and the new museum there and developing the live entertainment space. “

With 20 years of experience in the music industry, Dave is looking forward to strengthening the club’s relationship with the industry, while improving the fan experience at games.

He continued, “I’m really proud that the Rangers are looking to grow this aspect of the business as well, especially over the past 18 months.

“There are a lot of bands and artists who are eager to go out and perform in front of a crowd and Glasgow has some of the best crowds in the world, so we’re looking to develop a place that is really going to celebrate those two things.

“There’s already a relationship there, although it hasn’t been around for a while, but the Rangers have already played Bon Jovi here as well as Bryan Adams and Elton John.

“We’re going to offer more on match days, just a little extra to make the day more exciting.

“We hope to make things more fun for families, there will be a bigger and brighter store and the museum looks to be amazing and really celebrates the club’s rich history.”
