The Haverhill team is bringing their annual River Ruckus Festival back to downtown Haverhill this Saturday.

The festival takes place on Saturday, September 24, from noon to 8:30 p.m., at Riverfront Park, Washington Street, Haverhill.

The Haverhill High School Choir kicks off the day with a performance of the ‘Star Spangled Banner’, followed by a live display by the Haverhill High School crew on the Merrimack River.

Musical performances include The Jayhawks, Delta Rae, Kurt Baker, Liz Bills & The Change and Danielle Miraglia.

A car show, a beer and wine garden and various cultural tours take place throughout the day. Activities for children in the children’s zone are also available, including face painting, balloon art and more. Additionally, 92.5 The River features live musical performances from 12:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

At 8 p.m., a fireworks display appears over the Merrimack River.
