Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, as well as Sons of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner, were seen rehearsing for their new music project, The Smile.

The group, which was first revealed at the Glastonbury live broadcast event in May, surprised fans with a social media workout on their Instagram Live yesterday (December 2).

The footage showed the three members of the group rehearsing. New music from the group is expected in the near future.

“The Smile was born out of just wanting to work on music with Thom locked out,” Greenwood revealed in an interview with NME earlier this year.

“We didn’t have a lot of time, but we just wanted to finish a few songs together. It was very stop-start, but it felt like a happy way to make music. “

The Smile is currently working on a full new album.

“We’re sitting in front of a bunch of music, figuring out what will make the record,” Greenwood also said. NME. “We’re thinking about how much to include, if it’s really over or if there are a few guitars that need fixing. Hope it comes out soon, but I’m not the right person to ask.

Radiohead recently re-released ‘Kid A and’ Amnesiac ‘together as a joint collection to celebrate the album’s 21st anniversary.

On top of that, Radiohead also released an album titled “Kid Amnesiae” made up of previously unreleased material that was not finalized during the recording sessions for these two albums.
